Mobile Auto Body Shop FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started with mobile repair?

It’s easy!  Simply request an estimate and upload your pictures.  We will reply with an initial estimate, then you schedule an appointment for repairs.

How does mobile repair work?

Once we arrive at the location of your vehicle, we will assess the damage.  Your body and paint technician will review and confirm the estimate with you.  If you agree to the terms, work can begin.  The tech will repair your vehicle’s damage.  You pay, when the work is done.

How much does mobile repair cost?

Rates vary from car to car.  It all depends on the type of car, paint, damage, and size.  Each repair is unique, the service is personalized and done by an expert body and paint technician.

How long does it take to repair a car?

It all depends on the type and size of the damage.  Most body and paint repairs are done within 3-6 hours.

Is it safe to paint outside?

Yes, because we take measures to reduce our waste and use environmentally friendly products and materials.  We only use the amount of paint required for each job.  Painting is done carefully to minimize overspray and paint at minimum 7-feet away from other objects.

Will I get charged if I cancel my appointment?

No, but just out of common courtesy, if you know you won’t be able to make the appointment please let us know as soon as possible.  Life happens and that’s ok, we just ask that you please give us at least 48 hours notice before the appointment.  We would do the same if we had to postpone your appointment.

Where can you repair my vehicle?

Your car can be repaired on your driveway or a private office parking.  Our mobile van is fully equipped with paint, tools, materials, and paint matching computer system.  All we need is a good space in order to work and your vehicle need at least 7-feet clearance all around.

What payments do you receive?

You can pay by credit card or cash.  Payment is taken when work is completed.

Is your work guaranteed?

Our repairs have a 3-year guarantee.

How many pictures should I submit?

At the very least send one, but ideally we need three good clear images.

Our photo tips:
1. Take pictures in a well lit area.
2. Make sure the pictures are clear and detailed.
3. Submit at least three pictures of the damaged area; a close-up, close-up at an angle, and at a distance.

“Thank you so much to West Coast Body & Paint for the work they did to my red Hyundai Elantra!! My left fender was very damaged when I hit it and I looked at different Body Shops in the valley, called in and got some quotes but none of them really seem they can do the job that I needed with the budget that I had. Then I found West Coast Body & Paint on yelp and went in for them to check my car and give me a quote. Jaider is amazing!!! He took a look at my car, and explained to me in detailed all the work that would go into the car, and worked with me with the budget that I had. Since I don’t know much about cars, I always feel like body shops and mechanics try to take advantage of that, but this is NOT the case with Jaider, he’s pretty straight forward with all the information and the fees. Once I got my car back, it looked brand new! Jaider’s work really shows quality, and attention to detail. The paint match 100% to the original color. He’s a man of his word and did exactly what he promised to me. I trust West Coast Body & Paint 100% and will recommend to everybody that needs repair or paint.”
