In March of 2010 we got a client who wanted his Ford F150 painted a custom black satin color.  See how we made it happen.

Custom Black Satin Car Paint Job

This custom black satin car paint job needed some minor auto body repair work, some sanding, light bondo, and finally got the body ready for the new color.  Once the black satin color was applied the truck looked like a completely new Ford F150.

First the truck got some auto body work done.  We fixed a few edges, a couple of dents, and the uneven panels.

Next is the auto paint preparation stage, which includes the bondo application and sanding.  Lots and lots of sanding.

Once the truck was ready for paint, we masked it.  We masked the tires, windows, grille area, and running boards.  Once masking is complete, the truck was painted.

The truck was taken out of the paint booth and carefully examined to make sure the body and paint look seamless.

With the truck paint complete, it was ready for masking removal.

After the truck is given the a-ok from quality control it was ready for its lights and license plate to be screwed on.

Last step, the truck was washed and ready to go!
