“Man I love Yelp. I probably wouldn’t have found these guys otherwise! West Coast Body & Paint definitely does a fantastic job at a fantastic price. Here’s my experience with them.
Background:
I had a 1-inch dent to the back left rear panel of my 2013 Lincoln MKZ due to an unfortunate incident with me and a stationary pole. It was at the worst possible spot since it was where the rear panel and side of the bumper met, and the car naturally already had a curve in that section which I was worried would make repairs even more difficult. I ended up looking around that following weekend for places to take my car in … little did I know that most body shops are closed on Saturday.or have earlier hours. I ended up driving to a 3-4 body shops and getting quotes. The Experience:
Jaider’s was the last body shop that I visited that Saturday, and it was later in the afternoon already so I was worried it would be closed. Luckily, they were open! He definitely gave the most thorough inspection at the damage and also came in at the lowest price (by $50). He even suggested how he could manage to do it for less (i.e. spot repair and fading in the colors as opposed to removing the whole bumper like many other repair shops were suggesting) and at comparable quality. I really appreciated the honesty. It was right around the holidays and I was planning on traveling for a week or so, so I asked if I could drop it off and have them keep it until I got back. He said no problem even though the repair itself would only take 2-3 days. Jaider was even willing to come into the shop on a Sunday so that I could come and pick it up for work on Monday.I ended up going ahead and doing that, and coming back a Sunday a couple weeks later, and he showed me the final product. The car was immaculate! You couldn’t tell there had been any previous damage and the color matched perfectly. He explained the process of what they had done, and you can definitely see that he is proud of the work.
I also had another area of damage near the front right bumper, and was asking him how much it would cost to repair that. He gave a quote, but said that I should probably wait off on repairing it since it wasn’t that bad, and knowing LA, it’d probably get worse over time 🙂 I appreciated his honest feedback since most places would have jumped at the chance of charging / doing more work.
These guys are legit, and I’d definitely trust them to do more work on my car in the future. I’d highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for some honest folks that do great work and at a reasonable price. West Coast Body & Paint are the best!”
