With Spring just around the corner, the weather gets warmer and the days longer, it begins the season for more not-so-cold cruise nights. Some car clubs in Southern California have cruise nights often but the majority happen during the spring and summer. One I go with my family often is the Santa Paula Cruise Nights showcasing pre-1975 cars. They happen every first Friday of the month, April through October in the city of Santa Paula, 40 minutes north west of Los Angeles.
Santa Paula, also known as the Citrus Capital of the World, is a small town in Ventura County which has been the setting of many Hollywood movies, tv series, music videos, and commercials. You can find plenty of awesome places to eat, visit museums, go for a hike, and see historic buildings all nestled in the beautiful Santa Clarita Valley. Santa Paula also features an airport that has one of the largest antique airplane collections in the world.
Here are a few pictures from a Cruise Night. Enjoy!
